Sandwiches in the Tower
This is the place I go to when I'm on my way to work and am not in the mood for another cafeteria hamburger. It's small but popular and carries your basic Italian deli items: mortadella to mozzarella, olive oil, dried pastas, ladyfingers, as well as a good assortment of chips, sodas, and prepackaged salads and slices of tiramisu to go.

Sandwiches are reasonable, from about $3-$6.75 [for the Michelangelo, which is fantastic. Too bad I can't afford it too often.]. The staff is really friendly, and sometimes it's hard to resist the small Lindt chocolate balls and wafers sitting next to the cash register.

If you don't have cash on you, they take ATM/Credit cards as long as the machine is working. - moonhilda , posted 10/28/04

Best Deli in town
Not to bag on Subway or Port of Subs, but when I eat there I still get the feeling that its fast food (aka unhealthy). Yet when you step into Piemontes you know your at a deli. The sandwhiches at Piemontes are delicious, try the italian sausage if you have time. All the meats are fresh and the specialities are fantastic. In my opinon this is the best deli in Fresno, I've been eating their since I was nine and I'll keep going as long as its open. - Isaiah , posted 06/01/05

Hells Yeah
I have been eating at this place for years, and despite the occasional change in bread (we like the original stuff!) it has the best sandwiches and sides in town! - hsifeng , posted 06/30/09
