Best Italian since Napa/Sonoma
If it's Italian, it's here. Sam still works the deli counter too. From imported and domestic cheeses, meats and a whole range of deli canned goods this place is food wonderland! There's also a surprisingly well stocked wine store sharing the deli floor. Did I mention there's subs and sausage sandwiches available. Cheaper than going out to dinner, but still that same home made quality and taste. Try Angie's Kitchen Marinara. It's made right on premises. We happened to be there when a hot Italian braid was placed in the bread case.It had a good crust, soft middle and beautiful smell of yeast. There's also a great selection of sodas (orange, cream, grape, black cherry, ginger ale etc.as well as the standards Pepsi, Coke and so on.) And don't forget dessert, it's there too tiramisou, gelato, cookies and more. So if you're in the neighborhood -- Clinton by the Fresno Art Museum it's just up the block. It's well worth the trip from HWY 99 if you like first rate Italian Food.
